Audition Requirements
Each student will be eligible for a scholarship by performing an audition consisting of the following materials. If you have auditioned for regional honor bands and are comfortable using those audition etudes as prepared pieces, those are acceptable substitutions. Prepared Pieces for all instruments will be listed below.
Audition Requirements for Brass/Woodwind Players:
2 Scales of Choice (2 octaves where appropriate)
Chromatic Scale
Sightreading

3 Rudiments (Five Stroke Roll, Paradiddle, Flam tap)
3 Scales (F, Bb, Eb Major Scale)
Prepared Pieces below: Play to marked parts of Snare 1 and Mallet (Reading Only, omit repeats)

Band Managers Wanted!
The EMCC is always accepting applications for Band Managers! Band managers are the lifeblood of the program. Duties include assisting with loading crew, sound tech, logistics, and more. Managers are eligible for generous scholarships. For more information, contact rwade@eastms.edu
